Frankfurt-based GreenTec Capital Partners has invested in Afrilife, a Tanzanian company that produces honey and organic apiculture products.
The investment in the East African company will be used to buy modern hives whose production is three times higher than traditional hives.

Afrilife will improve the production capacity as well as the revenues of its network of beekeepers with training. It will also enhance its plants as well as the management of its logistics chain.
This year, GreenTec Capital Partners increased its presence and investments in Africa. It opened a representation in Nigeria while targeting the West African market. It also invested in a staff development firm and another insurance company in Kenya and in Nigeria, it invested in the logistics sector.
