AppsAfrica Innovation Awards 2019 is open for corporates, established ventures or startups who have launched services in at least one African market to apply.
The aim of the AppsAfrica Innovation Awards is to celebrate Africa’s best solutions in mobile and tech.
Applications for the AppsAfrica Awards are welcome from mobile or technology ventures with services launched in at least one African market for the following award categories; Disruptive Innovation, Health Tech, Best African App, Enterprise Solution, Blockchain, Media & Entertainment, Educational, Fintech, Agritech, Social Impact, IoT, mCommerce, Changing Africa, and Mobility Awards.
The portal for the submission of applications is now open till September 11 and finalists for the Apps Africa Innovation Awards will be made public on Oct. 8th, for a grand finale on Nov. 11th in Cape Town, South Africa.
Winners will also be invited to attend the 3rd Africa Tech Summit Kigali 2020 to join tech leaders, corporates, startups, and investors. The AppsAfrica Innovation Awards will also provide its winners with industry recognition, global publicity, and networking opportunities.
Entries will close on 11 September and each application will be charged at $125 per category entered. Startups that are less than 18-months old will not be charged, subject to approval. Qualifying startups can contact the awards for a discount code. Shortlisted finalists will be announced in October.
