African Logistics startup, Kobo360 has launched its new app recently at its Lagos office. The app according to the logistics startup was built to boost speed and efficiency in the African transportation market.
The launch of the Kobo360 logistics app follows a three-month pilot that saw over 1,800 downloads with over 10,000 drivers expected to migrate over to the new platform in the coming weeks.
One unique feature of the app is that it has inbuilt bidding tools for customers and drivers to evaluate the cost of a trucking service before deciding which to select.
Other features of the Kobo360 logistics app are digitised waybills with automated invoices after completed trips, real-time tracking of cargos and trucks as well as enhanced reporting and analytics. and customised dashboard and multi-language functions to facilitate intra-African trade.

The logistics startup is currently having a rollercoaster truck ride as it is expanding to other parts of Africa, raised funding from the IFC in December and won the “Disrupter of the Year” Award at the Africa CEO forum.
