You can now vote for Khula, an agtech startup from South Africa, to win $50,000 at Chivas Venture 2019 which will take place at TNW Conference on May 9. Khula, an app that connects producers to customers who are looking for locally grown fresh produce right from the soil (market access), is the only African startup selected for the finals of Chivas Venture 2019.
You can now vote to help determine how the first $100,000 in no-strings funding is split between the remaining finalists.
The startup that wins the most votes will receive $50,000, and $10,000 will be awarded to each of the five runners-up. You can vote for Khula here.
Meanwhile, the remaining $900,000 will go to the winners of the Chivas Venture Final, decided by a panel of judges at TNW2019 in Amsterdam. Chivas Venture is a global competition that gives away $1 million every year to social businesses who blend profit with purpose.
