At Rockstart AgriFood, we view the Food supply system holistically, rather than as a segmented chain. Solutions to problems in our food supply system must address more than one phase of the chain.
As supply chains get shorter, the need to consider the industry as a whole gets stronger. Therefore, Rockstart AgriFood will focus on solving problems in our food supply system, all the way from primary agriculture (Agri-tech) to consumption (Food-tech).
Rockstart AgriFood supports solutions with large-scale impact in one of the following three challenges throughout the food supply system:
-
Optimize Process & Practices: Drive efficiency in the supply chain with better connectivity & distribution
-
Stop Food Waste & Loss: 33% of what we produce is wasted – it is time to unlock this value and reduce CO2 emissions
-
Drive Sustainability & Transparency: Improving cost and efficiency are no longer the only drivers for innovation
Our program runs for six months and is made up of four key phases, each of which has a specific focus designed to take you through the various stages of business development to make you investment-ready and prepare the team for global scaling.
Throughout the program, Rockstart will organize frequent educational workshops as well as larger events such as Prototype Day and Demo Day, to name a couple.
Startups can expect to receive daily support from the AgriFood Program Management team as we believe that continuous feedback from our startups allows us to tailor the program to our startups’ needs.
