Last year, Accounteer, an online accounting software for SMEs won the MEST Africa Challenge and was rewarded with $50,000.
For the 2019 edition, the competition was among the following regional finalists: AMPZ, Nigeria, Oze, Ghana, Snode Technologies; South Africa, Waya Waya, Kenya and Seekewa, Ivory Coast.
One of these aforementioned was supposed to emerge winner and take $50,000
However, due to stiff competition and “being unable to agree on which #MAS2019 startup had the potential to make the biggest impact on the continent and beyond, the judges named @Snode_Tech, @oze, and @wayawayaltd all winners of $50k investment each and support from our sponsor @Microsoft.”
