Co-creation Hub (CcHUB) in partnership with Google for Startups has announced the 10 African startups selected for PitchDrive II, a three week, five-city Asian tech tour across Singapore, Shenzhen, Hong Kong, Seoul and Tokyo.
The 10 startups billed for the PitchDrive II were chosen from more than 200 applications received from 20 African countries.
The first edition of the PitchDrive tour last year ferried 14 startups from across Africa through 5 European cities (London, Amsterdam, Berlin, Zurich and Paris) to pitch to investors, explore international opportunities and learn about frontier technology markets.
For PitchDrive II, the focus turns to Africa’s deep technology and hardware sectors, both of which have seen a steady rise in development, innovation, and reputation.
The startups selected for the Asia tour include cut across seven African countries with three from Nigeria, two from Kenya and one each from Morocco, Tunisia, Ivory Coast, Uganda, and Rwanda.
In partnership with @GoogleforStartups, we are glad to announce the 10 startups that have been selected for #PitchDriveII🥳🥳
