Cars45, a Nigerian based cars auction startup has made its first international expansion to Kenya, East Africa. Cars45 which raised $5 million series A round in 2017, allows customers to buy, sell and swap cars seamlessly.

In Nigeria, the startup which was founded in 2016, has somewhat cemented its place as the leading car auction company in the country with thirteen inspection centers despite competition from the likes of Cheki and NaijaAuto.
Although it is arguably the number one in Nigeria, it is probably not the same in Kenya as it has KenyaCar Bazaar and Cheki amongst others to compete with.
