Nigerian Twitter is replete with savages. Savages who are ready to ‘drag’ the life out of you if you mess up.
Perhaps due to the coronavirus lockdown, a lot of Nigerians have enough time in their hands to treat any celebrity flaw as soon as it hits Twitter.
As such, there has been a lot of dragging in recent days. Who are some of these celebrities who have attracted the wrought of Nigerian Twitter users? Read on to know some of them!
Funke Akindele
Despite the fact that Funke Akindele Bello is the love of the life of many Nigerians, she was merciless dragged on Twitter.
Why? This was because of the party she organised to celebrate her husband’s birthday. Twitter users were even more aghast because she did a video encouraging Nigerians to stay home and practice social distancing to curb the spread of COVID-19.
Juliet Ibrahim
This Ghanaian turned Nigerian Nollywood star went to Tory Lanez’s Instagram live video to say ‘If this was an African artist live video, account number go full comment section.’
Indirectly, she was referring to Nigerians who are used to dropping account numbers for celebs to send them money. Twitter users did not take this subtle bant likely, as they called her low budget Kardashian.

Fela did NOT just sing activism songs.
Fela lived the life of an activist. He was jailed over 200 times.
At a point, he was in jail for almost 2 years. Fela was an icon and a legend. Please let us not disrespect the legacy of Fela by comparing him with that Ikorodu Lucky Dube.

Burna Boy
Burna Boy aka Ikorodu Lucky Dube by now is already used to being dragged on Twitter. However, his most recent dragging which was as a result of telling Nigerians that they deserve their leaders is perhaps the most exciting one.
In this case, he was tagged Ikorodu Lucky Dube. They should have even pitied him and called him Ikorodu Fela since that is his mentor!
So IF a person’s next meal is not guaranteed, then the person has no right to demand for a better country? And who told you your own next meal is guaranteed?
Your skin is too bright for your brain to be this dark. Abule Egba Kylie Jenner.
Now let’s see who will cry after this. https://t.co/hrfzAsPmOl

Toke Makinwa
Toke Makinwa is also not new to being dragged. For broke shaming Nigerians, she was referred to as Abule Egba Kylie Jenner. Obviously, she is not bothered about Twitter users as her fans are on Instagram praising her to high heavens.
Just to show that I have no problem with anyone that dragged me on Twitter, everybody that dragged me should send their account and I will check ur page to check if u dragged me before today before I send your money. All love ❤️ Thanks

Naira Marley
Naira Marley is the only one who decides when he wants to be dragged. He simply wakes up on one random morning, posts a tweet that will make him trend and before you say, Jack Robinson, he is being dragged.
