Naira Marley was in Abuja over the weekend to perform in a ‘Drive-in’ concert amidst the coronavirus pandemic. The party was hosted by Kim Oprah of BBNaija.
This caused a lot of outrage on social media with Nigerians wondering how Naira Marley flew from Lagos to Abuja and even performed a concert without any attempt to stop the event.
The Ministry of Aviation has suspended operations of the ExecuJet indefinitely for providing false information to convey Naira Marley to Abuja for a concert. The flight was initially approved to convey a service Justice from Lagos to Abuja, Aviation Minister @hadisirika has said.

Now, the Federal Government has suspended the ExecuJets, the airline that flew Naira Marley to Abuja for the concert.
The minister for aviation, Hadi Sirika, made the announcement during the daily COVID19 briefing adding that the flight was approved for a different purpose.
Sirika said that the flight was initially approved to convey a serving Justice from Lagos to Abuja adding that the company has been suspended indefinitely for providing false information to convey the singer to Abuja for the show.
The Minister also said that the flight captain will equally be sanctioned for providing false information.
