National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) has launched an Information Technology Hub at the University of Lagos (UNILAG). The NITDA IT hub was commissioned by the Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Dr Isa Ibrahim Pantami.
The event was held physically at NITDA IT Hub, along FSS road, UNILAG and virtually via Zoom Conferencing.
The commissioning was attended by the Minister of Works and Housing, Mr Babatunde Fashola, SAN; Executive Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Nigerian Communications Commission, Prof. Umar Garba Danbatta and several important dignitaries.

The Chief Host of the event, the Honourable Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Dr Isa Ibrahim (Pantami), while making his address, hinted at, among other things that the ICT Hubs established in both the University of Lagos and Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria are not only for students but for all Nigerians with skills who choose to go there and incubate their ideas
The NITDA IT hub was planned for and executed under the NITDEF intervention project and was completed a while ago.
