Startuplist Africa, a data-driven platform that helps you discover and gain insights into the African Startup Ecosystem has been launched.
Founded by Emmanuel Ibe when he found that there was no one-stop platform for finding African startups, Startuplist Africa provides important data and metrics on individual companies and industries across the continent.
The project is run by a team of tech, research and business professionals who are grounded and passionate about the African Startup Ecosystem. Since its launch in June, the platform has received positive remarks from the African tech community.
According to the founder Emmanuel Ibe; “There’s a need for an official list – a platform where you can learn how companies are evolving across the continent. We have records of the key metrics that drive the growth of African startups. Our platform helps investors make investment decisions, discover new companies, and have a feel of the ecosystem as a whole.”
“Our mission is to use a data-driven approach to bridge the opportunity and knowledge gap for local and international investors, researchers, entrepreneurs, and government officials to make guided decisions on their next ventures.
“At Startuplist Africa, we currently track various metrics on the platform. These include information on startup fundings, growth metrics, competitors, team size, tech stack, presentations, interviews, news, and other insights with more to come.
“We ensure our data is authentic and contains information on real and active startups across Africa. Our network, team of researchers and intelligent systems constitute some of the ways with which we find and list African Startups on the platform.
“We are committed to making Startuplist Africa rich with valuable information on African Startups and Ecosystem.”
