Kwaba, a financial technology company created to help renters pay and split their annual rent into convenient monthly installments has secured pre-seed investment from Ingressive Capital. This was announced in a Medium post by the startup.
According to Kwaba, it will use the new investment to upgrade its services, aid as many renters as possible, and expand into other parts of Africa.
The startup adds that COVID-19 has made its rental payment services very important to Nigerians.
“Recent happenings worldwide and in Nigeria have left many stranded and in dire need of financial assistance post-Covid. Kwaba is bent on helping as many people attain their rental freedom. With our newfound partnership with Ingressive Capital, we would keep meeting each renter’s need one step at a time.”
Kwaba which was founded by Obinna Molokwu and Jadesola Opawumi in 2015 joins Paystack, Bamboo, Tizeti, Fuelmetrics, and many others that are Ingressive Capital portfolio companies.
