OPay has partnered with DevFest Lagos to launch a 48-hour hackathon.
The 48-hour hackathon will run from Friday, November 20 to Saturday, November 22, 2020, and the “OPay Hackathon Experience 2020” is open to Nigerian developers who focus on powering SME payments.
VP of Product and Engineering at OPay, Dotun Adekunle says “Our aim is to revolutionise the way businesses and consumers connect and transact through industry-leading capabilities in payment processing, digital wallets, card processing, and cash solutions.”
“It’s been an amazing 18 months for OPay. We believe this is a great opportunity to connect with some of the brightest minds in Nigeria’s tech ecosystem as we share our experiences on how our engineering team has contributed to OPay’s blitz scaling, Adekunle adds.
GDG Lagos DevFest 2020 which will commence on November 21, 2020, would be bringing together thousands of developers for a day of technical learning, a shared passion for Google technologies, and networking.
