Twitter has unveiled a new feature for users to share their tweets from their mobile application to Instagram Stories. With this feature, there is no need to screengrab your tweets or retype them to post on your Stories. The feature is presently available to iPhone owners. Android users have to wait a while for the feature to be introduced.
While is making it easier for its users to share tweets to Instagram, it’s still difficult to share Instagram posts to Twitter as the Instagram link on Twitter still shows up as just a URL, without a preview card.
How to share a Tweet on Instagram Stories
Step 1: Make sure you have the Instagram app installed on your device. Log into your account.
Step 2: Open up Twitter for the iOS app. Tap the share icon on a public Tweet. Note that a protected Tweet cannot be shared.
Step 3: Tap the Instagram icon
Step 4: Your Twitter for iOS app will close, and a new Story draft on your Instagram app will open.
Step 5: The Tweet you want to share will appear as a moveable and resizable sticker to share on Instagram Stories.
Step 6: You can share the Tweet with a single person, a group, or all of your followers.
