Nigerian super star singer and Mavin Music act, Rema has secured admission into the University of Lagos (unilag).
The bounce singer disclosed this on his Twitter handle stating that he going to school at the behest of his mother.
Rema who is 21-years-old further revealed that he would be studying creative art at Unilag adding that he plans to drop his latest album before lectures commence.
Born Divine Okubor, Rema came to the attention of D’Prince after he posted a freestyle video to D’Prince’s track “Gucci Gang”.
D’Prince saw the video and moved to sign the singer into his record label. After the video, Rema signed a deal with Jonzing World record label (founded by D’Prince), a subsidiary of Marvin Records.
His brand name became popular after the artist released his hit single “Iron Man”, which appeared on Barack Obama’s 2019 summer playlist.
Since then, he has gone on to release hit songs including Dumebi, Ginger me, Woman and Soundgasm among others. He has also bag several juicy endorsement deals from Pepsi and Tom Tom etc.
