Gokada and Octamile announced their partnership to launch digital insurance covers across a range of insurance products from trusted underwriters with the aim of providing the protection insurance provides to consumers, merchants & riders using the Gokada app.
At the partnership launch in Lagos-Nigeria, Gbenro Dara, Founder and CEO, had this to say: “We have always said we want to make insurance work for all. Our partnership with Gokada is a testament to our commitment to making insurance accessible to protect the uninsured from financial loss.

The partnership will provide easy access to insurance products from top underwriters across Nigeria to mitigate risks GPartners and GBusinesses are faced with working with Nigeria’s leading last-mile delivery service and digitising Gokada’s insurance claims.
He continued, “I believe that the work Octamile is doing to build Africa’s Digital Insurance Infrastructure across Claims Automation and Distribution with Octamile’s Embedded Insurance APIs will lead to robust growth for the insurance sector across Nigeria and Africa. ”
Since launching in December 2021, Octamile has announced several partnerships with B2C businesses like DriveMe and VeendHQ, to name a few, enabling them to offer lifestyle, health, auto, life and other customisable insurance products to their consumers and does not look like they are slowing down.
